TL;DR
Senior Manager, Infrastructure Engineering (Aerospace): Developing, designing, engineering, and constructing Terran R test infrastructure with an accent on multidisciplinary facility design, construction execution, and project delivery. Focus on coordinating architectural, structural, civil, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection requirements, managing contractors and regulatory agencies, and delivering complex test facilities on schedule and within budget.

Location: On-site at Stennis Space Center, Mississippi, United States; up to 25% travel across hirify.global sites. Successful candidates must pass a US government background check to obtain clearance for on-site work at the government partner location.

Salary: $163,000–$245,000 USD annually, plus equity and benefits.

hirify.global develops Terran R rockets and the manufacturing and test infrastructure required to support commercial launch operations.

What you will do

  • Lead the development, design, engineering, and construction of Terran R propulsion and stage test infrastructure.
  • Coordinate architectural, structural, civil, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and industrial requirements across technical teams.
  • Act as the owner's representative with consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Partner with Infrastructure, Test Operations, and Vehicle teams to define project designs, budgets, and schedules.
  • Manage construction documentation, RFPs, bidding, evaluations, subcontractor selection, and on-site construction management.
  • Drive complex projects from concept through execution while maintaining schedule, budget, quality, and safety.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • At least 7 years of experience in the aerospace and/or construction industry, including field engineering and project management.
  • Experience with design documentation, construction drawings, bid solicitation, contractor selection, construction management, field supervision, permitting, QA/QC, and safety.
  • Experience with project scoping, budgeting, and scheduling at task and construction-program levels.
  • Experience with architectural, structural, civil, and MEPF design, construction, and operations.
  • Proficiency working with 3D models using NX, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software, plus knowledge of development permitting and land-use controls.

  • Experience independently driving projects and reporting progress to remote leadership.
  • Ability to manage multiple technically complex projects in dynamic, time-sensitive environments.
  • Ability to read, develop, and interpret technical plans, drawings, blueprints, and models.
