Sr. Staff Engineer, Rocket Growth (Backend)

What you will do

• Define architecture, system design, technical vision, and roadmaps for Supply Chain products within Rocket Growth.
• Build scalable and robust distributed systems for hirify.global’s 2P marketplace and seller fulfillment operations.
• Collaborate with Product, engineering teams, stakeholders, and internal and external partners to shape products and deliver mission-critical projects.
• Make the platform open and extensible to support new business and innovation opportunities.
• Decompose complex problems into straightforward solutions and apply internal and industry design practices.
• Investigate and resolve critical system issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 12 years of experience in software design and development using Java and Python.
• Experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems in the supply chain domain.
• Experience with large-system architecture and development, cloud computing with AWS, and container-based testing environments.
• Experience with Java, IntelliJ, and the Spring environment.

Nice to have

• Deep understanding of the supply chain domain and AWS compute, storage, and distributed services.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and influencing team architecture.
• Excellent communication skills.
