Software Development Engineer II (Backend)

What you will do

• Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable backend features.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and implement scalable, secure, high-performance solutions.
• Review code, identify improvement opportunities, and provide constructive feedback.
• Deploy and optimize cloud-based solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, and RDS.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to plan and deliver features on time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional software development experience building scalable backend systems.
• Strong proficiency in Go, Python, or Node.js.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Understanding of concurrency, caching, asynchronous processing, fault tolerance, system design, and architecture decisions.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure; Docker or Kubernetes; and SQL and NoSQL databases.
