Sr. Staff Software Development Engineer (Backend Dev - C/C++): Driving system-level optimizations, automation frameworks, and multi-cloud infrastructure strategy with an accent on C programming, Linux/FreeBSD systems, cloud VM images, and performance profiling. Focus on designing distributed systems, building Jenkins deployment pipelines, automating infrastructure with Python or Shell, and troubleshooting complex resource and application-level issues.

What you will do
- Develop and optimize software for Linux and FreeBSD-based systems, including system configuration and scripting.
- Work across AWS, Azure, and GCP to create, export, and maintain virtual machine images.
- Write and maintain Python or Shell automation for infrastructure tasks, monitoring, and cloud workloads.
- Profile system performance, identify resource bottlenecks, and troubleshoot system and application issues.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve complex technical problems and shape multi-cloud infrastructure strategy.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience with C programming, including performance optimization.
- Hands-on Python and/or Shell scripting experience for automation.
- Strong knowledge of Linux or FreeBSD, including process management, threading, memory management, and networking.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP, including VM image creation, export, and infrastructure maintenance.
- Experience designing, building, testing, and deploying distributed systems through Jenkins pipelines.
- Active exploration and practical use of AI tools to improve workflows and problem-solving.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols applied to system-level solutions.
- Experience with database internals, tuning, and optimization.
- Familiarity with Git or similar version control tools.
