Backend Platform Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in Bengaluru, India; candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to Bengaluru. Some overlap with US PST working hours is expected.

hirify.global is building a revenue operating system powered by autonomous revenue agents for global enterprise and AI companies.

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable backend systems and multi-step workflows for intelligent, agentic products.
• Work across the AI product lifecycle, including model training, evaluation, production integration, and reliability improvements.
• Apply LLM research to user-facing systems and drive experimentation and evaluation of AI-powered features.
• Work closely with customers, product engineers, AI engineers, and designers to understand needs and ship solutions quickly.
• Design and operate systems using data storage, queuing, and streaming infrastructure while minimizing downtime and customer impact.
• Own end-to-end technical design, clarify requirements, write clean code, and deliver weekly product improvements.

Requirements

• Strong ability to independently design and implement scalable systems end to end.
• Experience with data storage systems such as Amazon Aurora, DynamoDB, Snowflake, and S3.
• Experience with queuing or streaming systems such as SQS, Kafka, and Spark.
• Proficiency with Python, AWS, and Flask; familiarity with the listed product development stack.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction and a strong focus on operations and customer impact.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of professional experience.
• Understanding of LLM models.
• Deep understanding of services across multiple cloud platforms.
• Experience with Spark, Next.js, Vercel, or Figma.
