TL;DR
Logistics Specialist I (Aerospace): Receiving, storing, tracking, moving, and delivering materials across launch-site locations with an accent on inventory accuracy, material requests, and production support. Focus on maintaining material records, coordinating shipments and internal priorities, and performing hands-on logistics work in a physically active aerospace operations environment.

Location: On-site in Cape Canaveral, Florida, United States. Successful candidates must clear a background check administered by the US government to obtain clearance for on-site work at a government partner location.

Salary: $19.18–$28.76 USD per hour

Develops rockets and launch systems, including the Terran R vehicle, to deliver customer payloads to orbit.

What you will do

  • Perform shipping and receiving activities, verifying quantities, part numbers, and the condition of incoming materials.
  • Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, inventory, and material movement records.
  • Process service and freight invoice receipts and verify supporting documentation.
  • Move and deliver materials between site buildings, storage areas, and work centers according to operational priorities.
  • Maintain material locations in inventory systems and support inventory checks.
  • Support kitting, staging, material preparation, and communication with internal customers about priorities and shipment status.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent credential.
  • At least 2 years of experience in logistics, shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, material handling, or a related field.
  • Experience communicating material status, shipment updates, or operational needs with internal customers or cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to perform hands-on work involving lifting, carrying, moving, staging, and delivering materials.
  • Ability to organize tasks, adjust to changing priorities, and support multiple requests in warehouse, production, or operations environments.
  • Ability to pass the US government background check required for on-site work at the government partner location.

Nice to have

  • Forklift operation or rigging experience.
  • Commercial Driver’s License or equivalent driving credential, if required for assigned material movement activities.
  • Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, automotive, warehouse, production, or similar operations environments.
  • Experience using ERP, WMS, inventory management, or material tracking systems.
  • Experience maintaining organized inventory records, storage areas, or material documentation.
