Head of Field Service

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop professional field service engineers within the Instrumentation & Control team.
• Plan and oversee field service activities for substation upgrades and I&C projects.
• Track service delivery KPIs, including response times, first-time-fix rates, and project milestones.
• Drive continuous improvement, safety, quality assurance, and operational efficiency.
• Manage customer escalations and complex service inquiries in collaboration with project management, engineering, and sales.
• Maintain customer relationships, identify future service opportunities, and report team and project performance to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
• Experience in field service or technical project environments, ideally in power transmission, distribution, or utilities.
• Leadership or supervisory experience managing technical teams and operational delivery.
• Strong knowledge of substation systems and instrumentation and control.
• Strong interpersonal and commercial skills, including customer relationship management, conflict resolution, and negotiation.
