Location: Must be based in Deerfield, IL (Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Salary: $120,000 - $192,500 USD

What you will do

• Manage the preparation of SEC filings including Form 10-K and 10-Q.
• Oversee financial statement disclosures, tie-outs, and internal control procedures.
• Lead accounting processes for acquisitions, divestitures, and technical accounting memoranda.
• Develop and distribute enterprise-wide accounting policies.
• Coordinate with external and internal auditors and actuaries.
• Provide technical accounting support for complex matters like revenue recognition and share-based compensation.

Requirements

• B.A./B.S. in Accounting required
• CPA certification required
• 7+ years of experience in external reporting
• 5+ years of management experience
• Must be based in or able to commute to Deerfield, IL
• Expertise in GAAP, SEC reporting, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements

Nice to have

• Master’s degree
• Public accounting experience with public company clients
• Experience with Oracle FCCS or SAP
