PRN Medical Assistant - West Bend, Sussex, New Berlin, Oconomowoc, WI

Location: WI-West Bend; service locations include West Bend, Sussex, New Berlin, and Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.

Salary: $21.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience, and skill level.

What you will do

• Escort patients, prepare exam rooms, and maintain clinical supplies and equipment.
• Review medical histories, collect updated health information, and record accurate data in patient records.
• Take vital signs, perform blood draws, administer medications and immunizations, bandage wounds, and assist with procedures.
• Schedule patients, manage check-in and check-out, process medical record requests, and coordinate referrals and specialist visits.
• Process test results and communicate them to patients as directed by the provider.
• Support patient outreach, engagement, and individualized care plans by identifying gaps in care.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration is strongly preferred and is required where mandated by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification is required by the start date.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
