Manager, Process Engineering (Semiconductor)

Location: Kaohsiung Science Park, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan

A semiconductor technology company seeking a process engineering manager for operations in Kaohsiung Science Park.

What you will do

• Manage process capabilities, daily operations support, cross-functional communication, and process engineering teams.
• Coach engineers on troubleshooting, root cause analysis, corrective actions, company policies, regulations, codes of conduct, and EHS requirements.
• Establish reliable process parameters using scientific approaches and complete Verifications & Qualifications in a timely manner.
• Support New Product Introduction through mass production and take ownership of process-related manufacturing topics.
• Improve yield and capacity while reducing costs and customer complaints.
• Lead long-term projects, develop the technology roadmap, and maintain engineering documentation including SOPs, work instructions, BOMs, routing, PCNs, pFMEA, RFCs, and SPC records.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or above in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• More than 10 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
• At least 2–3 years of experience leading process engineering teams with a focus on process improvement.
• Prior experience with statistical process control is required.
• Fluent English for detailed discussions with international teams and participation in international conference calls.
• Availability for overseas travel when required.

Nice to have

• Component assembly or chemical cleaning experience.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
