What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Virtual Factory systems for semiconductor manufacturing across multiple sites.
• Standardize Virtual Factory solutions, manufacturing processes, and best practices with the Shanghai sister plant and contract manufacturing partners.
• Analyze real-time factory data, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools to improve productivity, equipment utilization, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Drive digital transformation through MES, factory automation, IIoT, and smart manufacturing technologies.
• Perform statistical root cause analysis, troubleshoot applications, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate system upgrades, software releases, change management, and cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics, computer, manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering, computer science, information technology, data science, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, factory automation, manufacturing systems, or Virtual Factory environments.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and factory operations, including SIP and SSD.
• Knowledge of MES, factory automation, manufacturing intelligence, SPC, OEE, yield improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methods.
• Strong analytical, communication, project management, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English is required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or experience with global manufacturing teams and contract manufacturing partners.
• Experience with AI, machine learning, predictive analytics, Digital Twin, or Virtual Factory implementation.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and factory automation systems.
• Lean Six Sigma, PMP, Agile, or Data Analytics certification.
• Mandarin proficiency for collaboration with sister plants in Shanghai.
