TL;DR
Manufacturing Technology Area Manager (Advanced Electronics Manufacturing): Leading technical execution, process stability, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing area with an accent on process capability, yield, safety, and operational reliability. Focus on developing process and equipment engineering teams, solving complex quality and reliability issues, and driving measurable improvements in throughput, scrap, and customer satisfaction.

Location: 100% onsite at the Newark, Delaware facility, United States

What you will do

  • Lead and develop Process Engineers and Equipment Engineers while building technical capability and accountability.
  • Drive process stability, capability, yield improvement, scrap reduction, and operational discipline through data-driven problem solving.
  • Lead technical resolution of process, equipment, and customer quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Support process safety, reliability, capital projects, Material Review Board activities, and cycle-time reduction initiatives.
  • Partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Engineering, and Commercial teams to improve productivity, throughput, and customer satisfaction.
  • Standardize and sustain Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business and site priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least 5 years of industrial manufacturing experience in technical, process, or manufacturing engineering.
  • Six Sigma certification and experience with process control, statistical analysis, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver measurable operational results.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, project management, communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
  • Must work onsite in Newark, Delaware; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

  • Leadership experience with Process Engineers, Equipment Engineers, or other technical teams.
  • Experience in semiconductor, electronics, specialty chemicals, advanced materials, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or additional continuous improvement certifications.
  • Knowledge of Process Safety Management programs, operational excellence systems, capital projects, and equipment reliability.
  • Experience with SPC, DOE, Minitab, yield improvement, throughput, scrap reduction, or OEE.
