Principal Engineer of Process Integration (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Identify, resolve, and improve process integration, yield, defect, and related manufacturing issues.
• Develop custom and derivative processes to meet customer needs and support CMOS development projects.
• Support new designs through module characterization, design rule development, and test structure improvement.
• Perform project management, data analysis, and product/process partitioning studies for yield and defect characterization.
• Build defect source libraries and tool defect-source fingerprinting capabilities.
• Drive continuous improvement plans, process documentation, failure-mode mitigation, and compliance with environmental, health, safety, and security requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Science, or another relevant engineering discipline.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with process integration, yield improvement, defect characterization, and semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams.
