Engineering Technician II (Night) (Semiconductor)

Location: Singapore, Singapore; onsite night-shift role with 10% travel. Relocation is not available.

What you will do

• Perform routine to moderately complex testing, troubleshooting, assembly, modification, fabrication, and checkout of electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
• Test and troubleshoot system-level and component-level electrical and mechanical issues.
• Support new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, rework, and quality notifications.
• Conduct mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on hirify.global platforms.
• Prepare logbooks and test-procedure documentation using schematics, diagrams, layouts, and written instructions.
• Follow manufacturing processes, safety procedures, clean-room protocols, and required personal protective equipment standards.

Requirements

• Analytical skills and the ability to apply scientific methods to technical activities.
• Ability to recognize and solve typical problems using established procedures or scientific methods.
• Ability to work with hand and power tools, heavy machinery, and forklifts.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, lift, and work in confined or noisy environments for extended periods.
• Ability to distinguish colors and use clean-room personal protective equipment, including coveralls, gloves, respirators, and face shields.
