Location: On-site in Cape Canaveral, Florida, United States
Salary: $37.60–$56.40 USD per hour

What you will do
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems supporting launch infrastructure, facilities, and operational equipment.
- Lead electrical work for construction projects, facility upgrades, and daily operations with engineering, technician, and operations teams.
- Direct technician assignments, set priorities, and remove execution barriers while meeting safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
- Diagnose electrical issues, define corrective actions, and verify repairs against approved procedures and electrical codes.
- Estimate material, equipment, and labor needs and coordinate resources for planned and emergent work.
- Mentor junior technicians and reinforce risk-prevention and safe work practices in changing outdoor and non-standard-shift conditions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressively responsible electrical experience with increasing technical complexity and project or team responsibility.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, one-line diagrams, equipment schematics, and manufacturer instructions.
- Experience with AC and DC systems in construction, aerospace, facilities, industrial, or related environments.
- Working knowledge of NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, and applicable OSHA electrical safety requirements.
- Experience with 277/480V and 120/208V distribution systems, grounding, bonding, and preventive or corrective maintenance.
- Must clear a US government-administered background check to obtain clearance for on-site work at the government partner location in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
Nice to have
- State electrician license or equivalent electrical certification.
- Experience with medium- and high-voltage systems.
- Experience with electrical systems in classified locations, including Class I, Division 2 environments.
