Senior Facilities Electrician (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Act as the primary electrical subject matter expert for headquarters and the Engine Development Center.
• Plan and execute electrical infrastructure projects, including power distribution, panel upgrades, machine installations, lighting systems, and equipment tie-ins.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade 120V–480V three-phase building electrical systems.
• Read electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and construction drawings; install and modify conduit systems.
• Coordinate electrical requirements, shutdown windows, timelines, procurement, commissioning, and equipment energization with Manufacturing, Engineering, EHS, Production, and IT.
• Manage work orders in JIRA, ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local building codes, and oversee electrical contractors.

Requirements

• 8+ years of electrical maintenance experience in aerospace, automotive, medical device, or heavily regulated manufacturing; the Master Facilities Technician level requires 10+ years.
• High school diploma or GED, or 12+ years of electrical maintenance experience in lieu of a diploma; the Master level requires 14+ years in lieu of a diploma.
• Experience with facilities systems and improvement projects.
• Must work onsite in Long Beach, California.
• For U.S. office roles, must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, qualifying refugee or asylee, or eligible to obtain the required ITAR authorizations.
• Ability to work around electrical hazards, chemical exposure, temperature variations, and noise; wear assigned PPE; lift up to 25 pounds; and work extended hours, weekends, or varied shifts as needed.

Nice to have

• Licensed electrician or certified electrical professional qualification.
• Cleanroom management experience.
• Ability to solve complex problems with little to no supervision.
