Facilities Technician (Electrical) (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and commission electrical systems and equipment across manufacturing and office facilities.
• Maintain electrical distribution systems, including lighting, branch circuits, panels, transformers, disconnects, conduit, and receptacles.
• Diagnose electrical faults using multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers, circuit tracers, and related equipment.
• Install conduit, pull and terminate wire, interpret schematics and one-line diagrams, and modify systems in accordance with the NEC.
• Support facility upgrades, remodels, equipment installations, and expansion projects in collaboration with engineers, contractors, and safety personnel.
• Maintain HVAC, exhaust, pumps, compressed air, and other building systems while recording work in the CMMS and improving reliability, energy efficiency, and safety.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on industrial or commercial electrical maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of 120/208V and 277/480V systems, transformers, breakers, motor controls, and power distribution.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read schematics, one-line diagrams, panel layouts, equipment manuals, and construction drawings.
• Experience installing EMT, RMC, and PVC conduit, pulling wire, and terminating electrical equipment.
• Applicants must be U.S. Persons or eligible to obtain an export license under applicable U.S. export regulations, including ITAR and EAR.

Nice to have

• California Journeyman Electrician Certification.
• Experience in aerospace, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, cleanroom, laboratory, mission-critical, or data center environments.
• Experience with HVAC equipment, BAS, VFDs, generators, UPS systems, emergency power, PLC-controlled equipment, or motor controls.
• CMMS experience with MaintainX, Fiix, Maximo, or similar systems.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification; basic plumbing, mechanical, or fabrication experience.
