Location: Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD $113,400–$162,000 annually for Canada Intermediate; CAD $158,000–$207,000 annually for Canada Senior; CAD $200,400–$248,000 annually for Canada Staff.

What you will do

• Own the data warehouse, data pipelines, and integrations between business systems.
• Design, develop, and support batch and real-time data pipelines.
• Manage data models that enable AI/ML data products and real-time inference.
• Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to improve access to data.
• Communicate data modeling and architecture processes to cross-functional teams.
• Identify and implement improvements across the data platform.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience with data warehouse or data lake architectures, ETL, cloud data warehouses, Python, and SQL.
• At least 2 years of experience with Airflow and Spark.
• Experience building scalable real-time data pipelines with Python or Scala, SQL, and distributed processing frameworks such as Spark or Flink.
• Experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Python for real-time AI/ML inference features.
• Exposure to AWS services such as EKS, MSK, and MWAA is preferred.
• Ability to take initiative, drive tasks to completion, and work in a structured, dependable manner.
