BI Developer (Power BI)

Location: Hybrid work with remote and on-site days at Airpower in Wilrijk, Belgium

hirify.global develops industrial solutions used across electronics, medical research, renewable energy, food production, infrastructure, and other industries. The role is part of the Service Division of Compressor Technique, supporting data-driven operations and technical support.

What you will do

• Design and develop reports and dashboards in Power BI.
• Advise on data model design, dimensional modelling, and data architecture.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and the product team to deliver end-to-end data products.
• Define data product purposes, roadmaps, and delivery plans for Operations and Technical Support.
• Translate business needs into accessible, actionable, and user-friendly data solutions.
• Connect data pipelines with final dashboards and support day-to-day decision-making across the service division.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent English in oral and written communication.
• 3–6 years of experience with business intelligence tools, BI principles, and dimensional modelling.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms and documentation practices.
• Understanding of agile methodologies or product ownership principles.

Nice to have

• Experience with data engineering principles, SQL, Spark, and Python.
• Knowledge of Azure tools such as Databricks.
• Interest in modern technologies, AI applications for efficiency, and industrial data contexts.
