Accounting Manager (Aerospace)

Salary: $122,000–$182,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Own the fixed asset roadmap and modernize the full-cycle fixed asset management process.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed asset roll-forwards while improving month-end close processes.
• Lead ERP enhancements that improve transaction processing, strengthen internal controls, and support scalable operations.
• Design and roll out a fixed asset tagging process across three sites.
• Manage and develop the accounting team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Act as the primary liaison for external auditors and provide fixed asset documentation and analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Direct people-management experience and strong communication skills.
• Financial data analysis skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience with continuous improvement and process enhancement.
• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.

Nice to have

• Big Four or regional audit and assurance experience.
• Active or inactive CPA certification.
• Technical understanding of fixed asset accounting under GAAP.
• Experience with Infor LN ERP.
• Experience in fast-growing startups or manufacturing.
