TL;DR
Sr. Manager, Program Finance (Aerospace): Owning financial performance for a portfolio of space security programs with an accent on EAC forecasting, cost and schedule performance, government compliance, and people leadership. Focus on leading EVMS and ASC 606 processes, quantifying program risks and opportunities, and building finance controls for complex government-funded programs.

Location: Hybrid/in-person, four days per week in the office at the Denver, Colorado headquarters or Long Beach, California facility. U.S. ITAR eligibility is required, and a current Secret clearance is required; TS/SCI is preferred.

Base salary: $150,000–$220,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

  • Own financial performance for a portfolio of IRAD and government-funded space security programs from planning through closeout.
  • Lead quarterly EAC forecasting in accordance with ASC 606 and manage cost and schedule performance.
  • Prepare CPR, ADRL, and CDRL reporting for customers and government representatives.
  • Partner with PMO, Supply Chain Management, Contracts, and Operations to deliver program objectives.
  • Lead and develop program finance analysts through mentorship, technical guidance, and career development.
  • Manage program risks and opportunities, executive forecasts, audit readiness, pricing, and proposal support.

Requirements

  • 6–12 years of finance experience in aerospace or defense, including ownership of complex programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • At least three years of people management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, ASC 606, FAR/DFARS, and cost accounting fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience with EAC methodology and EVMS on government programs, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power Query, and Power Pivot.
  • Current Secret security clearance and U.S. ITAR eligibility required; TS/SCI is preferred.
