Accounting Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Playa Vista, California, full-time and on-site. Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorizations.

Salary: $110,000–$150,000 per year, plus incentive stock options and an annual performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Own day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, journal entries, and general ledger and subledger reconciliations.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including variance analysis.
• Manage accounts payable, vendor invoices, purchase orders, employee expenses, accounts receivable, billing, collections, cash application, and DSO monitoring.
• Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, internal controls, and financial data integrity.
• Lead external audits and determine required supporting documentation.
• Manage payroll accounting and support tax filings, reconciliations, payments, and compliance through federal, state, and local tax portals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA certification required.
• 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and demonstrated knowledge of cost accounting.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP platforms; experience with QuickBooks Advanced, BILL, or Brex is relevant.
• Advanced Excel skills, audit or internal controls experience, strong attention to detail, and cross-functional communication skills.
