Regional Commodity Management Professional (f/m/d) Field Services

Location: Hybrid work based in Germany, Romania, or Spain; listed locations include Erlangen, Berlin, Bucharest, and Madrid. Flexible domestic and international travel is required.

What you will do

• Develop and execute forward-looking Field Services commodity strategies for the Gas Services Central EU&AF region.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on cost reduction, resilience, service delivery, quality, lead times, and health and safety.
• Represent regional business interests in global commodity teams and provide regular commodity health updates and supplier market intelligence.
• Manage supplier selection, onboarding, qualification, communication, performance, and compliance with contractual obligations and field-focused KPIs.
• Build supplier relationships and negotiate price lists, long-term contracts, favorable commercial terms, quality requirements, delivery commitments, and service-level agreements.
• Identify supply risks, including market volatility, and develop mitigation strategies while ensuring procurement, regulatory, and safety compliance.

Requirements

• University degree in business, supply chain management, engineering, or a comparable field.
• Long-term professional experience in procurement, commodity management, engineering, or a relevant Field Services function within an industrial, project-driven, or global organization.
• Strong experience negotiating long-term contracts, strategic sourcing, and complex contract management.
• Deep understanding of cost analysis, market trends, and supply risk mitigation.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with flexibility to travel domestically and internationally.
• Fluent English is required as the primary working language; German is beneficial as a secondary language.
