What you will do

• Lead sourcing activities for injection-molded components, including RFQs, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.
• Manage supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, capacity, risk, and continuity planning.
• Drive cost reductions through resourcing, should-cost analysis, pricing negotiations, and supplier development.
• Partner with engineering and operations on tooling, manufacturability, scalability, and new part development.
• Project-manage new part introductions and product launches from sourcing through production readiness.
• Maintain ERP purchasing data and records, support spend analysis and reporting, and improve inventory and supply chain processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent German and English for collaboration with international, cross-functional teams.
• At least 6 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, bills of materials, production scheduling, and supplier agreements.
• Experience with ERP systems, Excel including VLOOKUP, tooling programs, and new product introductions.
• Strong negotiation, mathematical, communication, problem-solving, commercial, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in multi-site manufacturing, plastics manufacturing, and tooling lifecycle management.
• Exposure to supplier quality, supplier development, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, or ISO, EN, and DIN standards.
• BME, ELA, or CIPS certifications, and experience in global sourcing or international logistics.
