What you will do
- Lead global sourcing strategies for power electronics components, including supplier selection, development, cost management, contracts, relationships, and escalations.
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Installation Project Management, Design, Sales, and other stakeholders on sourcing and supply-demand strategies.
- Negotiate global business, pricing, warranty, service, and related supplier agreements.
- Control costs through design reviews, change-control meetings, and Design of Manufacture reviews.
- Develop cost roadmaps, capacity planning, allocation strategies, and sourcing plans for new programs and New Product Introduction initiatives.
- Track supplier performance and organize Quarterly Business Reviews while maintaining ethical procurement standards.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of strategic sourcing experience in electronics, with a focus on power electronics components and high-voltage applications.
- Experience in the Electronics Manufacturing Services industry is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent experience; a Master’s or MBA is preferred.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, Bills of Materials, specifications, and Single-Line Diagrams, with basic knowledge of manufacturing process controls and quality assurance.
- Strong expertise in complex sourcing, negotiations, supply chain strategies, project management, stakeholder influence, and supplier relationship management.
- Proficient English and Spanish at C1 level required.
