Lead Program Manager, IT PMO

Location: Foster City, United States

Salary: $145,000–$165,000 per year in base compensation, excluding incentive compensation and potential equity grants.

What you will do

• Lead complex, cross-functional program portfolios across multiple teams and manage strategic planning, execution velocity, risk mitigation, and delivery.
• Define program vision, success metrics, operational frameworks, and repeatable workflows aligned with business objectives and technical constraints.
• Use data and analytics to identify improvement opportunities, track progress, and measure quality and efficiency outcomes.
• Own project status, proactively identify risks, and recommend solutions to support timely delivery.
• Build stakeholder relationships, influence cross-functional leaders, mentor team members, and foster collaboration and operational excellence.
• Communicate program vision, progress, risks, and recommendations to executive leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, operations, finance, or a related field, plus 15+ years of program management experience or equivalent experience.
• Proven success leading large, complex, cross-functional programs with high visibility and business impact.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Experience managing across delivery and product functions and influencing without authority.
• Effective executive communication and presentation skills, including the ability to synthesize complex ideas for leadership audiences.
• PMP certification is required.
