Lead Technical Program Manager (Quantum)

Location: Broomfield, Colorado, United States; hybrid attendance required at the assigned location, with remote work permitted up to 2 days per week with approval. Candidates must be a U.S. Person.

Salary: $164,000–$205,000 annually, inclusive of bonus target.

What you will do

• Develop and manage schedules, budgets, resource plans, and work plans for complex hardware R&D programs.
• Coordinate multiple technical and operational teams working on program deliverables.
• Lead status meetings, project reviews, and end-of-task retrospectives.
• Communicate strategy, scope changes, risks, and progress through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
• Identify opportunities to accelerate schedules and develop required technologies.
• Travel up to 25%.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of technical program management experience.
• Direct experience supporting or executing federal programs with strict reporting, audit, and compliance requirements.
• Must be a U.S. Person: a U.S. citizen, permanent resident or green card holder, or a worker granted asylum or refugee status.
• Due to national security requirements, candidates must not be nationals of the People’s Republic of China or Russia unless also a U.S. citizen.
• Strong time management, organizational, collaboration, risk analysis, and program planning skills.
• Applicants for safety-sensitive positions must complete a pre-employment drug test.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a STEM field.
• Background in quantum computing, optics and photonics, or experimental physics.
• PMP certification and experience in product development.
• Experience managing technology projects through the full life cycle, including schedule, risk, and budget management.
• Experience with first-of-its-kind or early-stage technology projects.
