Operations Specialist - Trade Processing (DTCC)

Salary: $50,000–$60,000 per year plus annual performance bonus

What you will do

• Process deliver and receive orders settling with brokers and banks for custody accounts while meeting daily deadlines.
• Verify client trade information in the Sonic system, including account numbers, quantities, and CUSIPs.
• Process TBA transactions, reconcile trade information, and manage daily settlement volumes.
• Investigate discrepancies, resolve order issues, and escalate problems appropriately.
• Communicate with internal and external clients and counterparties by email and phone to minimize risk and exposure.
• Provide management reporting statistics and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated PC skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to identify, escalate, and resolve problems.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage time, multitask, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with strong attention to detail.
