Analytics & Metrology Technician II (Analytical Chemistry)

What you will do

• Provide laboratory and quality testing support for production and R&D development testing.
• Prepare samples, analytical standards, reagent mixes, and production chemicals used in testing.
• Perform analyses using ICP-MS, ion chromatography, TOC analysis, titration, NVR, LC-CAD, and GC-FID/MS.
• Review and report analytical data with support from Analytical Chemists.
• Perform daily instrument checks, basic troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and safe waste removal.
• Maintain laboratory supplies, labeling, and timely handling of customer requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• More than one year of experience as an analytical technician, or a relevant degree with no experience.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a QA group.
• English: basic listening and speaking comprehension, with intermediate reading and writing skills.

Nice to have

• Previous laboratory experience.
• Exposure to an ISO 9000 work environment.
