Analytical Lab Technician (Analytical Chemistry)

What you will do

• Perform QAQC activities using analytical techniques in accordance with SOPs and health and safety standards.
• Operate analytical instruments and prepare and test samples using NMR, HPLC, TGA, DSC, and GC.
• Assist with instrument repair, modification, setup, calibration, and maintenance.
• Support analytical chemists with data processing and report preparation.
• Follow environmental policies and safe work practices, report hazards, and help reduce environmental impacts.
• Work additional shifts and perform other duties as assigned when required.

Requirements

• Post-secondary degree in Analytical Chemistry or Organic Chemistry.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience in an industrial analytical laboratory.
• Strong hands-on laboratory, analytical, organizational, time management, communication, and follow-up skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly, take initiative, and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work morning and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
