TL;DR

Intern - R&D Analytical (Analytical Chemistry): Preparing compounds and samples and conducting analytical testing using GC-MS, GC-O, and LC-MS with an accent on wet-lab procedures, experimental documentation, and scientific literature review. Focus on independently performing instrument-based analyses, assessing emerging research, and maintaining strict safety standards in the laboratory.

Location: Shanghai Minhang, China

What you will do

Prepare compound and sample solutions for analytical work.
Receive training in sample preparation, GC-MS, GC-O, and LC-MS analysis, then conduct the work independently.
Record experimental details in laboratory notes.
Conduct literature reviews to support assessment of technological advances and emerging research fields.
Follow SHE rules and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

Knowledge and experience in analytical chemistry.
Open to undergraduate and graduate students; an excellent education record is preferred.
Basic wet-lab skills, including sample weighing and solution preparation, are required.
Good documentation and communication skills.
A curious approach to problem-solving, a sense of ownership, and a spirit of teamwork.
Commitment to a full-time internship lasting more than three months.

Experience using GC-MS or LC-MS.
