R&D Chemist (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead the design, execution, and interpretation of complex chemical experiments.
• Develop, validate, and implement analytical methods for metal deposition and other semiconductor manufacturing process solutions.
• Translate headquarters-developed methods into accurate, reproducible local laboratory protocols that comply with industry standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and applications teams on commercial analyzers and demonstration systems.
• Lead equipment testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and customer-readiness activities.
• Support customer sample testing and work with field application and service teams on onsite chemical analyzer troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Master's degree with no related work experience, or bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of related work experience.
• Seasoned R&D experience in analytical chemistry and a demonstrated record of innovation.
• Experience with electrochemical analysis, spectroscopy, chromatography, HPLC, IC, or other advanced analytical techniques.
• Ability to lead analytical method development and validation for semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Ability to collaborate across engineering, applications, customer support, field application, and service teams.
