Location: 100% onsite in Dayton, Ohio, United States

What you will do
- Manage daily Quality Control Laboratory operations, testing activities, priorities, and laboratory staff.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, customer specifications, quality systems, process safety requirements, and environmental standards.
- Review laboratory data and maintain scientific equipment, instrumentation, and computer systems in calibrated and validated condition.
- Supervise Laboratory Analysts, including goal setting, coaching, training, hiring, performance reviews, and personnel issue resolution.
- Support technical and quality audits, site visits, customer and supplier requests, and incident response.
- Track laboratory KPIs and implement quality-system, Lean, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field such as Chemistry or Biology.
- At least 3 years of experience as a team lead or supervisor.
- Laboratory experience with analytical instrumentation such as GC, IR, NMR, GPC, ICP, or GFAAS.
- Knowledge of laboratory methods and techniques.
- Strong communication, time-management, collaboration, initiative, leadership, supervisory, coaching, and training skills.

Nice to have
- Intermediate proficiency with applicable Microsoft Office Suite programs.
- Experience with Gage R&R and Six Sigma.
- Experience presenting seminars, overseeing projects, or implementing new services.
