Director of Insights

Location: New York, NY, United States

Salary: $155,000–$194,000 annual base salary, plus equity, annual bonus, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead proprietary research and package first-party audience signals into commercial narratives for the Sales organization.
• Publish category perspectives that support sales efforts and generate industry press opportunities.
• Represent hirify.global at industry stages, webinars, executive roundtables, and research briefings.
• Partner with VP-level leaders and Account Directors on bespoke research angles for strategic partnership pitches.
• Draft study protocols, verify citations, edit reports, and build pitch-ready presentation decks.
• Translate complex audience data into clear stories for agencies, brands, and senior client stakeholders.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in media research thought leadership, brand marketing strategy, industry analysis, or executive-level insights.
• Published original studies, category perspectives, or research publications circulated under your name.
• Experience delivering keynotes, moderating panels, or presenting research at major industry events.
• Research synthesis and storytelling experience with Google Analytics, Nielsen, Comscore, and MRI-Simmons.
• Ability to combine first-party and third-party data into persuasive commercial narratives.
• Excellent writing, editing, presentation, and citation-verification skills, with a willingness to remain hands-on.
