Web Design Engineer (React)

Location: New York, NY; hybrid workplace

Salary: $70,000–$120,000 per year, plus potential restricted stock units, sign-on bonus, and other incentives.

What you will do

• Build and ship Next.js microsites from design mockups through production.
• Develop and maintain the company website’s frontend design, content model, and shared component system.
• Advise designers and content creators on web, UX, accessibility, performance, and SEO practices.
• Collaborate with Legal and Communications teams on evolving web requirements and brand campaigns.
• Develop, review, and release website changes through the CI pipeline.
• Maintain publication access controls and the pipeline threat model as risks evolve.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience with frontend design.
• Proficiency with TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility, performance, uptime, and SEO fundamentals.
• Figma fluency and the ability to take visual mockups through production.
• Attention to detail, design sensibility, ownership, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
