Transaction Advisory Services Senior Consultant

Location: Hybrid, with a principally in-person working model and frequent regional travel including approximately 20% overnight travel. The role is based across offices in Colorado, Illinois, Ohio, and Massachusetts. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Salary: $85,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide transaction-oriented accounting and reporting assistance for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and management buyouts.
• Perform buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence, including quality of earnings analysis and working capital assessments.
• Research industry and target-company data, analyze financial statements under GAAP, and calculate adjustments.
• Develop and review financial forecasts and reports evaluating historical earnings, assets, and liabilities.
• Prepare client reports, proposals, and engagement letters, and present findings in client meetings.
• Participate in client meetings and site visits with senior management and assist with project scoping.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2–5 years of experience in Transaction Advisory Services, audit, consulting, or investment banking.
• Experience analyzing financial statements, building financial models, and preparing financial reports.
• Availability for frequent regional travel, including approximately 20% overnight travel.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Percentage of Completion accounting or Over Time Revenue Recognition experience.
• Bilingual Japanese and English or Chinese and English candidates may qualify for an exception to the sponsorship requirement.
