Advisory Forensic and Restructuring Manager (Forensics and Restructuring)

Location: San Francisco Bay Area, San Jose, CA, or Walnut Creek, CA; hybrid workplace

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area; location- and qualification-specific ranges may apply elsewhere.

What you will do

• Lead forensic accounting investigations, fraud risk assessments, litigation support, and financial dispute engagements.
• Manage restructuring assignments involving insolvency analysis, turnaround strategies, and creditor negotiations.
• Supervise and mentor associates and senior associates, including performance feedback and career development.
• Build client relationships and act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders.
• Prepare and review reports, presentations, and expert witness documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams while ensuring compliance with professional standards and firm policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA required; CFE pursuit recommended.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in forensic accounting, restructuring, or advisory services.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading client engagements.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and financial modeling, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
