Salary: $115,200 – $230,000

What you will do

• Execute analytical projects to generate insights for senior management on a diverse range of FP&A topics.
• Create impactful presentations for communications with the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and C-level leadership.
• Perform portfolio optimization and capital allocation analytics to identify value creation opportunities.
• Build and maintain financial analytical models for scenario analysis and corporate decision-making.
• Monitor macro-economic indicators and conduct competitor analyses to shape strategy and budgeting.
• Support the corporate FP&A consolidations team with monthly reporting, outlooks, and earnings deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with financial data providers such as FactSet, Bloomberg, or Capital IQ.
• Location: Must be based in New York, NY for a hybrid work arrangement (3+ days in office).
• Strong professional writing abilities for crafting financial narratives.

Nice to have

• MBA, CPA, CFA, or a Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting.
• Experience in investment banking, equity/fixed income research, or strategy consulting.
• Domain expertise in the P&C insurance sector (broker, underwriter, or actuary).
• Familiarity with predictive analytics and AI tools.
• Experience with Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and Oracle Financials.
