Senior Material Planner (Aerospace)

Salary: $108,000–$162,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Derive material demand from complex, multi-level bills of materials and production schedules across multiple vehicle missions and programs.
• Generate material requirement signals and partner with Procurement on material acquisition strategies.
• Manage mission-by-mission material readiness, maintaining real-time visibility into supply and demand.
• Develop material allocation strategies for constrained or at-risk materials based on company priorities and supply conditions.
• Create material forecasts that support immediate and medium-term sourcing decisions throughout the production lifecycle.
• Help develop MRP systems and processes within ERP platforms to improve automation and planning accuracy.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in material planning, demand planning, fulfillment planning, or similar roles in manufacturing, aerospace, or supply chain environments.
• Cross-functional experience with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, finance, accounting, quality, and executive stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of MRP inputs and processes within ERP systems such as Infor LN, SAP, or Oracle.
• Experience managing demand forecasts, reconciling bills of materials, and supporting design release processes.
• Experience with New Product Development or New Product Introduction.
• Knowledge of SQL, Tableau, or advanced Excel techniques, with the ability to prioritize work under tight deadlines.
