Senior Facilities Technician, Weekend Shift (Aerospace)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States; onsite weekend shift

Salary: $32.80–$49.20 USD per hour, plus a 10% shift premium and 8 guaranteed overtime hours per week.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and plumbing system issues.
• Maintain site facilities, equipment, general surroundings, and consumable stock.
• Operate forklifts, reach-lifts, man-lifts, hand trucks, and golf carts to move materials and machinery.
• Organize and maintain equipment and support site maintenance activities.
• Recommend facility improvements and complete related projects as directed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of journeyman-level or higher work experience.
• Experience with heavy equipment and the ability to complete in-house forklift certification.
• Valid California driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and manipulate 50 pounds and work at heights, on ladders, and in outdoor conditions.
• Ability to work Friday through Monday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. PT, including weekends, overtime, and non-standard shifts.

Nice to have

• 5–10 years of experience.
• Background in maintenance, construction, repair, mechanics, or carpentry.
• Experience with inventory receiving and tracking.
