Quantum Advanced Packaging Manager

Location: Essex Junction, Vermont, United States; the role supports Fab9 in Burlington, Vermont. Travel up to 10%.

Salary: $118,000–$210,000 per year, depending on qualifications, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Lead and develop the Quantum Advanced Packaging team through direction, coaching, hiring, onboarding, and capability building.
• Drive development of cryogenic and superconducting packaging capabilities, including wafer-to-wafer hybrid and fusion bonding, die-to-wafer hybrid bonding, and interposers.
• Oversee project execution, timelines, quality, technical objectives, program reviews, and stakeholder updates.
• Define development programs aligned with internal and external customer needs and execute the advanced packaging roadmap.
• Manage budgets and resource allocation for prototype and development activities.
• Build strategic vendor and collaborator partnerships and report team performance to senior management.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of related technical work experience.
• At least 2 years of technical leadership experience.
• Fluency in written and verbal English.
• Ability to support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Nice to have

• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• 12+ years of related technical experience and 3+ years of people management experience.
• Project management, planning, organizational, and communication skills.
