Systems Engineering Manager (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; travel required up to 10% of the time; relocation eligible.

Salary: $185,000–$254,000 per year.

What you will do

• Define project and program objectives, outcomes, milestones, viability studies, and resource plans.
• Ensure systems engineering projects and programs meet product and process requirements, cost targets, resource plans, and delivery timelines.
• Lead multiple related teams, assign work, set priorities, allocate resources, and support professional development.
• Develop personnel through training, career development, performance management, coaching, hiring, and reward or discipline processes.
• Lead research and development of new technologies and incorporate new processes, designs, and methodologies into products and services.
• Manage departmental budgets, spending requirements, documentation, compliance, and computing resources for design development.

Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of concepts and principles within systems engineering and related job families.
• In-depth understanding of how the discipline integrates within the relevant business segment or function.
• Experience managing multiple related teams, setting organizational priorities, and allocating resources.
• Ability to identify and resolve complex technical, operational, and organizational problems.
• Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders, including senior management.
• Ability to ensure compliance with company policies, engineering and laboratory documentation, patents, confidentiality, ISO, safety, and business conduct standards.
