What you will do

• Lead the design, development, fabrication, integration, and deployment of ground systems for engine testing, vehicle integration, and launch operations.
• Collaborate with vehicle, propulsion, avionics, software, test, safety, structures, and operations teams.
• Oversee system bring-up, electrical testing, calibration, validation, and functional checks.
• Author interface control documents and engineering release drawings for ground support equipment and flight hardware interfaces.
• Ensure ground systems are robust, scalable, safe, compliant, and operable in challenging environments.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and deploying test or electrical integration systems in aerospace or other high-reliability environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical signal integrity, grounding, shielding, and power systems.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, and commissioning electromechanical ground systems.
• Familiarity with Ethernet, RS-422, CAN, MIL-STD-1553, and relevant ASME, API, and NASA/AF ground systems standards.
• Familiarity with NI, Beckhoff, or similar data acquisition and control platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience with NX, Teamcenter, Zuken, or Altium Designer.
• Experience using Python or MATLAB for data acquisition, recording, and analysis.
• Additional familiarity with UART, SPI, CAN, Ethernet, and related communication protocols.
