North America Markets & Strategy Manager — Grid Technologies

What you will do

• Translate Grid Technologies priorities, investments, and growth plans into North American execution plans.
• Represent customer needs, transmission market dynamics, regulatory trends, competitive conditions, and regional growth opportunities in strategic discussions.
• Identify and advance market opportunities, early-stage business development initiatives, joint solutions, strategic partnerships, and new business models.
• Facilitate partner workshops, align technical and business stakeholders, and progress opportunities toward collaboration agreements and commercial ownership.
• Establish implementation swim lanes, accountabilities, milestones, risks, and governance after strategic priorities are confirmed.
• Coordinate with Business Areas, technical teams, Sales, Business Development, Government Affairs, leadership, and external partners; prepare executive briefings and leadership communications.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in strategy, business development, market development, grid technology, transmission, energy infrastructure, consulting, market research, investment banking, or a related field; 15+ years of energy industry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of North American energy markets, utilities, transmission planning, grid modernization, HVDC, grid resiliency, interconnection constraints, data center load growth, policy, regulation, and competitor dynamics.
• Ability to translate strategic priorities into actionable implementation plans and measurable business outcomes.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders, managing cross-functional initiatives, and advancing partnerships from initial concept through technical alignment and commercial handoff.
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in engineering, business, economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
