Managing Consultant (Smart Plant Solutions)

Location: Must be based in the US (Chicago, Dallas, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Atlanta, or Bridgewater)

Salary: $135,900 - $265,880

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end AI-powered manufacturing improvement projects for global clients.
• Design and plan modern MES and next-generation digital manufacturing solutions.
• Define IT/OT integration strategies using industry standards such as ISA-95 and ISA-88.
• Advise clients on current and future factory platforms to ensure ROI-driven outcomes.
• Mentor teams, promote AI literacy, and drive scalable delivery governance.
• Develop proposals and RFPs that highlight the benefits and impact of AI in manufacturing.

Requirements

• 8-15 years of experience in digital manufacturing consulting.
• Strong expertise in MES, SCADA, and automation platform implementation.
• AI literacy and experience applying analytics or automation within a manufacturing context.
• Proven skills in executive communication, problem solving, and stakeholder management.
• Must have valid US work authorization.

Nice to have

• Experience in Life Sciences manufacturing, including GMP, LIMS, and EBR.
• Familiarity with manufacturing data standards (OPC-UA, MQTT, Kafka).
• Knowledge of cloud architecture and edge computing.
• Agile/Scrum certification and delivery experience.
