Technical Services Engineer III

Location: Boston, MA, United States

Base compensation: $143,000–$172,000 USD annually, plus a discretionary annual variable target incentive.

What you will do

• Architect, design, and implement enterprise infrastructure across on-premises, private cloud, and data center environments.
• Develop IaC, CI/CD, scripting, and task-automation workflows for infrastructure operations.
• Administer, monitor, and optimize compute, storage, virtualization, containerization, servers, and internal and internet-facing services.
• Provide administration and troubleshooting for Windows, Linux, and macOS servers, backup platforms, storage fabrics, and data center systems.
• Monitor system health, resolve complex incidents, document root causes, and maintain security and compliance controls.
• Collaborate with network teams and vendors, support local staff through the ticketing system, and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience supporting complex enterprise ICT environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Technical degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, and Linux administration.
• Experience with VMware or Nutanix virtualization, Docker or Kubernetes containerization, and SAN, NAS, or DAS storage administration.
• Scripting and automation experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Experience with source control and CI/CD tools such as Git or Perforce.

Nice to have

• Microsoft, RHCE, VMware, Cisco, Palo Alto, ITIL/ITSM, AWS, or cloud certifications.
