Splunk Engineer

Location: Kraków, Poland; hybrid model with 3 days per week in the office. Parents of a child up to 4 years old may work 2 days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Manage Splunk systems and architecture, including search heads, indexers, deployers, deployment servers, forwarders, ITSI, and Splunk Enterprise Security.
• Onboard data through application and add-on installation, custom parsing rules, and Common Information Model compliance.
• Design and deploy Splunk architecture changes, including complete environments with all server roles.
• Support client cloud migration efforts and deliver Splunk application, technology add-on, and platform upgrades.
• Deploy new features in collaboration with QA and senior engineers.
• Develop IT service models and tune KPIs to monitor service health and performance.

Requirements

• Previous experience administering Splunk environments.
• Hands-on experience with Linux systems.
• Familiarity with Git.
• Availability to work in the Kraków office 3 days per week under the hybrid model, or 2 days per week for eligible parents.

Nice to have

• Splunk Architect certification.
• Ansible experience.
