What you will do

• Operate and support Google Cloud Platform, Google Kubernetes Engine, managed databases, and cloud networking.
• Monitor production health with VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, VictoriaLogs, Prometheus, and Alertmanager.
• Investigate alerts, review dashboards, identify service degradation, and perform first-level incident troubleshooting.
• Handle Kubernetes operational tasks, including reviewing events, collecting logs, and supporting application rollouts.
• Write small Python or Bash scripts and utilities to improve operational automation.
• Collaborate with SRE, platform engineering, security, and software engineering teams on incidents, reliability, availability, and backup validation.

Requirements

• Up to 2 years of experience in infrastructure, technical support, system administration, cloud operations, or a similar technical role.
• Practical Linux experience and a basic understanding of Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform.
• Fundamental networking knowledge, including DNS, TCP/IP, and HTTP/HTTPS.
• Familiarity with monitoring systems, log analysis, Git, and basic SQL.
• Basic scripting skills in Python or Bash.
• Strong willingness to learn, troubleshooting ability, attention to detail, clear communication, and composure during incidents.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker, Helm, Cloudflare, Redis, or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, or infrastructure as code.
