Network Automation Engineer (SONiC)

What you will do

• Tune and debug Linux low-level networking to maximize operating system performance.
• Design, expand, and manage global LAN/WAN infrastructure across multiple data centers.
• Develop network automation for provisioning, configuration, monitoring, builds, and testing using Ansible, Python, and version-controlled workflows.
• Develop daemons and shape the production SONiC ecosystem.
• Maintain network security, reliability, scalability, and low latency through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams on data center expansions and new network components.

Requirements

• Advanced Linux/UNIX system administration skills and strong command-line debugging abilities.
• Experience with Linux low-level networking tuning and debugging.
• Knowledge of switching, IPv4/IPv6 routing, TCP/IP, and dynamic routing protocols, especially BGP.
• Experience with network automation using Ansible and Python.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes networking, EVPN, VPP, and eBPF.
• Fluent written and spoken English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud networking in GCP or AWS for hybrid environments.
