Relationship Manager, Commercial Banking

Location: Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. Work arrangement, including the proportion of on-site and remote work, will be discussed during the interview. Applicants must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.

What you will do

• Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial banking clients.
• Develop new client relationships through business development, referrals, existing clients, and community connections.
• Create end-to-end financial solutions supporting growth, cash flow management, efficiency, and risk mitigation.
• Assess client needs and propose lending, cash management, and strategic financial solutions.
• Collaborate with internal partners and provide timely responses to client questions and issues.
• Prepare client and prospect proposals using industry and company knowledge.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in commercial or business banking.
• Business development experience and the ability to build relationships in the local business community.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, account principles, valuation techniques, and cash flow analysis.
• Experience managing credit quality for commercial banking portfolios with credit needs or complex cash management requirements.
• Degree or diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada at the specified location; a valid work or study permit may be required.
